As an avid reader with a background in English grammar and literature, I have a great deal of experience with a variety of texts. Even in published works, I tend to still find errors that were missed before printing. This ability enables me to work meticulously to find the necessary corrections in the projects I proofread. I have completed proofreading projects in a variety of genres, from novels to professional letters addressing the community. I also have done some writing myself, which I believe helps me to not only find grammatical errors and typos but also to notice and preserve the voice of the writer as I work.
